Boot won't close

    Can anybody help with this boot issue?
    One side shuts fine the other side sits about an inch or two higher. Due to this it seems water is getting in the boot as I've just found a lovely rusty hole under the carpets!

    Photos attached for reference (hopefully they upload properly I'm on an iPhone)

    As you can see in the photos there's a massive difference from the left and right sides.
    Any ideas on what I can do to make the boot sit level again?

    Hi folks, I am am proud new owner ( from late dec 2015) of an immaculate black Copen roadster having the same issues as above any thoughts ??

    Look at the workshop manual in the "Body" folder - you want section EF F-13 "Back Panel Fitting"

    There are a number of bolts you can loosen to get the perfect fit - I'd imagine it's a two person job, and the manual gives the ideal gaps between the boot and the bumper / quarter panels.

    Going to a dude in congleton on Friday to have a look at a roof issue I'm having as well as after I put the roof down and back up the boot doesn't open haha
