Has anyone successfully installed the blueprint oil filter in the 660cc, without taking the front bumper off?

I did it the other day, it was the same size as the official Daihatsu one that came off so no issues. I have small hands as well so dont need a tightening tool, just did it myself

Hmm, I was lied to by my old mechanic! You can guess why he's my old mechanic now :)

Thank you very much for confirming, Seany

My husband recently fitted a new one - didn't take off the bumper, just had the car up on ramps. We made sure that we got the smaller filter (in height) as most advertised are too big to insert unless you remove the bumper. Have to say the filter was expensive from our local motor factors, but was happy to pay more to ensure we got the correct one.
