I've never seen any blue light in my copen. Or any Copen for that matter.

Perhaps it's to do with an after market alarm?

Unless the Police bought your Copen originally for some reason? Can't imagine what.

Just discovered it's the "doors locked" indicator, and goes out when car is unlocked. When light is flashing...if door is attempted to open by any means other than the recognised key...the car will be immobilised. (A very handy thing to have fitted)

Yes ! Just found out it's a Daihatsu fitted alarm which comes on when doors are locked with the key fob. Any attempt to open doors without recognised fob computer-code, would completely immobilise the car. Very handy....and a visible deterrent.
