    Copenistas,

I kept finding my battery was flat if I hadn't used the car for a few days. I figured the Battery is 10 years old so I bougt a new Yuasa and it seemed OK at first but it is now going flat.

The alternator is fine and recharges the battery quickly. The battery standing current is only 33 milliamperes so it should keep its charge for weeks.

    Any ideas ?

Sounds like u have something draining the battery, disconnect the battery and see if it still goes flat, easy test to check if something is draining the battery

Thanks, Ive removed the battery and will charge it up and leave it for a few days to see if it goes flat.

I'm fairly confident that it is a duff new battery as the drain current is only 33mA.

I've noticed that the green 'fully charged' indicator has never appered in the little window on the top of the battery.

Why oh why did they seal the things up !!!
