    Hi..

I had my head gasket replaced a couple of weeks back.. that seems to have increased given the car a little more boost (or am I just imagining it...)

Anyway, the car now seems to have a hesitation in the auto transmission, when I step on the accelerator hard, it won't shift into gear and just revs up. I have to depress the accelerator gently to allow it to "catch" so to speak. Anything too quick results in gear not shifting.

Anyone had this before? I am thinking of reseting the ECU by disconnecting the battery. Any thoughts on this?

I doubt it will solve your problem.

You want to do some datalogging of the Auto ECU and the Engine ECU - also read for fault codes.

There will be an obvious reason why it is not working.

Do you know the location of the engine ECU and the transmission ECU? I understand the OBD2 port is under the steering column. Can I access the data from that port?
