Another roof opening & closing observation....

    58 reg. R40 red 1.3 Copen; now gone, I'm afraid.
    11 reg. MX5 2.0 Kendo
    68 reg. BMW 1 Series
    Just in case it helps any other 'newbies' (I still count myself as one), I find that the roof warning light sometimes stays on if I'm parked on a more than usual sloping camber. Moving the Copen to a flatter location seems to be the very simple solution.

    You'll probably find that it is the 2 micro switches above the windscreen that's causing it.
    There will be some body twist when your not parked flat that will pull on the roof clips causing it to think they are disengaged.
    Either tighten the clips or bend the micro switch tabs slightly can help
