   Hi - you will probably all laugh, but where is the alternator on a 0.7? It is the only bit we can't see.

   Behind the engine at the bottom, towards the left!
   
   To get to it, take the drivers side wheel off, and there's a small gap you can just about get your hand through. From memory one of the retaining bolts can be got through there, the other(s) from above.
