    Hi Copeners,

I recently had a tough time picking up alloys for my Copen (1.3 2009). Many people and websites say that even 15"x6.5j will fit. I really don't believe it. With the stock rims there is little space left, so what will happen when i go wider? Please send help:) What rims you guys have on your Copens?

    Thanks,
    Michal

Dezent Ti 5jx15, 45 offset on Uniroyal Rainsport 3 195/45/R15. Handling feels the same when dry but much safer in the rain than the 165/50 Nankang that were on. Tyres are still within the arches too.

Also using MX5 Chrome wheel nuts.

This is from the German Copen forums so obviously in german, mostly figures though.

There's a few 16 and 17 there, if you look at the table it lists what mods are needed, German TUV is pretty strict so if it passes theirs, most places probably ok.

On the right side, the columns titled Lenkeinschlagsbegrenzer, Federwegsbegrenzer Kotflügelverbreiterung respectively mean Steering Lock, Suspension Limiter, Arch Extensions, so if it says nein in all 3 the wheels fit no problem.
