Hi, My beloved Copen has just had quite a bit of work done. While he was in the garage they also found a leak in the air con. The garage have said I need a new air con compressor. I have no idea where to even start! They said they could potentially get one from Japan but it was £1500 before shipping or labour... is this about right? I've always been able to have any issues with my Copen fixed and this is the first time I'm totally stumped. I know nothing about car parts so wouldn't want to just buy one without some advice first. Any help MASSIVELY appreciated : )
Phone the ex dealer in Holmfirth. They’re very helpful and will tell you if there’s a Toyota part that will do the job then you can hunt around the scrapyards. Or just remove it, and the belt, and enjoy an extra 2 bhp.
