Hello everyone. I´ve been searching for some replacement parts for the Copen and it´s very hard to find them. For example, shock absorbers from Bilstein there aren´t none, same goes with a simple KN air filter. Is it hard to find materials and parts for this car??
You need to look in the right places & have a wallet full of cash. Most likely you'll need to import your parts from Japan. Bilstein dampers were an optional extra in Japan. So they should be available. K&N don't offer a replacement panel or induction kit for the Copen. The 659 turbo Copen gives more scope for tuning. In Japan there is a big Market.
Thanks for the replies, but I what I meant were simple OEM replacements, such as the Bilstein dampers (not the B6 more sporty but the OEM´s B4 for instance). Some of those sites are aimed to customize/tune your Copen I believe, not regular OEM parts. Do you still have in the UK Daihatsu shops where you can get your parts, or do you normally buy them on those "universal car shops"? Thanks again.
Right okay, got you know. Here in the UK ex-daihatsu dealers still support spare parts. For those that don't live near an ex-dealer there's this place. http://www.sgpetchparts.co.uk/pages/contact_us For general service parts, brakes filters etc local motor factor shops can get those parts.
