Alright guys, first car, first copen! basically saying hello, been waiting to pass my test so i can drive this car, love it, all my mates look like drug dealers in their hatchbacks, getting pulled by the po po, and there is me in the convertable with a turbo! life is good
CONGRATS! it is a truly wonderful car to have as your first, nothing cooler than convertible and young. (in my eyes anyway) so did you pass first time?
ofcourse! i had 9 hours of driving lessons because, we own alot of land, i have learnt how to drive a defender 90 with two gear sticks since i was 14, my only problem was being too confident, accelerate hard, break harder! although my instructor was awsome, he flipped of a cyclist when we were in brighton
i always thought 10 was statutory minimum - so i learnt something new today! I also learnt in a defender too, then my first car was a diesel golf 1.9ltr which needed two hands to change into second gear - roundabouts where always fun! oh and it had no such thing as breaks..... you just prayed the wind was blowing the wrong way.
i dont even think there is a staturay minimu as i know people who have learnt through their parents then just sat the test.
