OK guys, I've got tired after a couple of days digging up the Internet: is there any possibility to source a new radiator for the 1.3 engine (L881) M/T? Is it perhaps compatible with other 1.3 Daihatsu models? Or may the 0.7's (L880) radiator be fitted? Does at least anyone know the OEM part no. for this thing? Thanks a lot!
Hi Csongi, the radiator part number for the 0.66L engine (L880) with a manual transmission is 16400-97220. It currently costs €398.89 when ordered from IMPEX JAPAN — online new genuine spare parts shop. I believe there is a high probability that it will also fit the L881 version, although unfortunately there is no guarantee. I also own an L881, and last year I replaced the condenser with the L880 version. It fitted the radiator without any issues, which suggests there is a good chance the radiator is compatible as well.
