The 0.7L seems to be a far more common sight to buy than that 1.3L.

Apart from the differences in engine size, the lack of a turbo and longer service times on the 1.3L, are the any other differences between the models?

Initially I have been giving a lot of thought to the 1.3L, but if the above are the only differences between the two models, the 0.7L would make far more sense.

    Thoughts?

The 1.3 comes with a spoiler fitted as standard.

you have more colour options with the 0.7
the 1.3 is quick 0-60 and I don't find its strained doing motorway speeds that write ups say about the 0.7. Its higher revs at same speed so is noisier also.
If you want to up the power then you can make quite a lot more and simply with the 0.7.

The 1.3 also gets an ugly spoiler.

The hold up is that I have to drill holes in the boot - stupidly it never occurred to me

well as its aluminium, rust won't be a problem where you have bare metal in the hole. as long as it basically stays dry. does it have a seal to go between the wing and boot surface?

the spoiler does come with some sort of sealant.
my plan is to get the garage to do it when it's serviced.
