Hi, has the car had a remap? If not have you got a boost controller/bleed valve fitted?

Also do you have a vid of the exhaust note please?

    Thanks Dave

Cars sold Dave. I own it now :D
I've fitted an electronic boost controller to it just to measure boost levels. Holds strong at .7 of a bar right up to 7k rpm. Exhaust will be getting changed since I saw the state of the welds underneath it but it sounds alright few pops and bangs as well haha

No worries. Looks a cracking buy :)

Have you got a thread up here? Interested in knowing more about the hybrid and boost controller. Ours is going in for a full turbo back system next week (not sure on diameter yet...will 3" be too big for the 660cc so maybe 2.5" will be better?)

I've been looking at getting it remapped but doesn't seem possible?

I've not bothered making a thread. With my past car I only ever updated my "build" thread like twice in 4 years I'm shite at keeping things up to date. Are you getting a decat made with the exhaust as I'm looking at one for mine and then probably swap out the rest of the system at the same time. I've left the boost controller totally standard don't fancy upping the boost until I can get round to sorting the fuel system to add more in to compensate the boost increase but that's more arsing around taking the tank out and stuff. In terms of a remap it seems there's either the d sport Ecu from Germany or running a piggyback Ecu like the Greddy emanage :/

Thanks mate, never considered the piggy back ECU. I'll look into that one. Bit gutted about the lack of UK tuners for these! I wanted to get her a remap for her birthday :(

She's having (it's missus car) new turbo back system but keeping the cat so it'll be cut off the old one and welded onto the new one. Not sure on diameter though, I've always gone for 3" in the past but these have been 2.3, 2.8 & 5.4 litre engines so not sure if 2.5" will be better here?

I think she wants a sporty sound but not too loud. I've just had mine done on the Saab but I think it'll be too loud for her copen as its her dd.

Had a 3" DP, sports cat (coming off for a 3" decat!) 3" resonator and mufflers deleted.

Just looking at air filter options now, I've got a HKS mushroom filter here from my old GT4, I think this will fit ok but need the pipework done. Again....not sure what the best diameter to go with. Bigger IC's another thing I'm looking into for her but not sure in sizes.

Any help here would be great (I think I'll stick a post up in the mod forum)
