Just adore my Copen, she's beautiful, fun & makes people happy! My mechanical knowledge is enough to get me into trouble!

Driving an almost stock 2003 model Copen
Mods: It has a large direct air intake,
    2" straight through exhaust,
    30cm 2.5" pipe for echo,
Real-time engine temp sensor & display,
blow-off valve now vents to atmosphere & pipe to turbo
    solidly covered)
    60k kms.
Hopelessly impractical but so worth the effort & many compromises that driving a Copen means.

My last 2 cars were also Daihatsus- 2003 model Sirion GTVi with performance mods. Two careless drivers means I now have my baby Copen. With the GTVi's, I found that putting 15kg of sand in the spare tyre well dramatically improved handling. Cheap fix!

No need in the Copen, it has nice tyres & handles like it's on rails.

    Signature

Cheers from Canberra, where it might be 45deg or -6deg depending on season, Brian!
