I've read everything needs to be taken off 5he top of the engine and might even need to have the engine removed to fix the tensioner or the chain.

Is there a way I can tell when I go to see the car without taking it apart (before I buy it) could there be damage to the engine because of the stretched chain that might not make it worth buying?...

Today, I went to do an engine oil change. By mistake, I drained the CVT fluid. So, I now need to replace the CVT fluid.
I can get the appropriate fluid. Toyota CVT FE is specified but Penrite CVT low viscosity appears to be an equivalent and is used by Toyota dealers.
My problem is that I do not know where the filler is. I have the handbook but, as...

Hi Everyone

I have obtained 3L of Castrol Syntrans 75W90 gearbox oil. I was hoping to find a guide for doing a gearbox oil change for the turbo version of the Copen, but all I can see are the instructions for the 1.3 version.

Have anyone done this as a DIY job? What issues did you find getting it done?

I own a '07 Daihatsu Copen. It is my very first car. but now, I seem to have some troubles getting my roof and boot to open up.

Here's what i suspect happened and the problems i face:
I had my boot protective sheet engaged to the sensors and then filled the portion closer to the entrance with stuff (the section between the sensor to the trunk lip). It wasnt...
