Hi all, My rear foglight is white colour (same as the reverse-gear light). It's a curious thing, because I thought that in the whole European union rear foglights should be red... Or maybe is a factory mistake. Maybe the question is stupid but, which colour your foglight? I'll have to replace the bulb to a red-colored one and checking my german-manual looking for the pictures and google-translating some texts, seems to be a little complicated operation (have to dismount the left rear lamp and then unclip two staples to access the part behind the bumper to change the bulb...) I'll put some pictures by the time I do the operation (just for laughs ) Hasta luego! (see you)
Hello Jose and welcome to copenworld, From your photos on the introduction page, it looks like you have a red filter missing. On the UK version, the reversing light is on the left and the fog light on the right. There is a red filter on behind the plastic cover (not the bulb itself). But of course, your red bulb should be fine. I did pop outside to take a picture for you, but it's dark and it didn't come out too well using the flash. I've also found changing bulbs on the Copen is not easy. So far I've changed the front dipped beam to a high brightness version. I had to do this by feel, as it was impossible to see with out removing the whole bumper. Rex.
When my rear right light cracked I could only get hold of the clear version, so had to put a red bulb in for the foglight. IMO it actually looks nicer now that both the rear lights are the same colour It's not that hard to change the bulbs, once you've worked out how to do it! But do test them before you go to all the rigmarole of putting the whole lot back together again only to have to take it all apart to fiddle with it - speaking from bitter experience....
Myname is theo. Can anyone give me a tip where I can a hieve a rear fog or reverse light. I am aware it is normal not colored but has a red adapter inside. Thx in advance.
