I drive a Hyundai i30 as a daily car, with a brilliant Bugatti 35B Replicar (1969 LHD Beetle underneath) for fun. Then, 2 weeks ago I was lucky enough to be following a car locally that I could not recognise. Ironically it was headed for local supermarket, as was I. I just had to take the opportunity to see what it was - a Copen. Back home I searched eBay, finding 10. The first listed was being sold by a local garage. Trip to garage, purchased it and collected 2 days later. So now I have 3rd car - can one really ever have too many cars. So far: Wipers replaced To do: Get 1 of the wheels refurbished Roof rattles on rough roads but I suspect this may just be how they are And that's it. Fingers crossed but it does seem to be in excellent condition, loved its whole life, well serviced. I absolutely love driving her. At 6'2" my head just touches roof but I have inclined seat to lower me down a fraction. Roof down, most of the time I reckon, no problems. Even found a neighbour's drive to park her on so have not upset neighbours by adding to the parking problems here. Enjoying Copenworld and reading fellow enthusiasts' posts.
Thanks - will set aside some time and give this a go. Definitely before winter and the need for the roof.
Time on my hands, warm day, roof rattle tackled. Much easier than I thought! Did not require removal of any trim as adjustment allen screw is accessible from above. I used a 10mm deep socket to loosen the lock-nut then put allen key through the socket to make adjustment. So much quieter, lovely Copen. Many thanks for feature on 'how to do it'.
