Hi all I live on the Leeds/ Bradford border but was thinking of looking at a new cd player including radio. Now I think the cd player sounds right but was thinking of replacing it and new speakers too. I know Adam had some speakers from Halfords that he thought made a difference. The radio is a nuisance because I can't seem to get the right stations. I know somebody recommended a place in Bradford so might check it out as I live close by. But any recommendations of a good stereo at a good price. Thanks
I replaced mine with a fairly cheap pioneer non cd unit- cd ones were about 20 quid more. I fitted jbl speakers which go nice and loud although the doors vibrate a bit so I need to get some deadening sorted.

Oh no not the you tube videos my driver door vibrates as even modest volume with the standard speakers. I have some deadening ready. Its one of my next jobs.
You should post a link up to your tapping video. I haven't seen it for ages and always laughed... I mean enjoyed the quality and professionalism of it. You turned tapping a a sound deadened parcel shelf into an art form. Quality.
here's where I put my woofer - although it's naturally never going to be as loud as a big boot based one that lets your neighbours know when you are a mile away.
