Hi Guys, I have a Tyre repair kit in my Copen, but when I have checked the use by date is states 2010, what harm would it do if I ever need to use it or would you recommend I purchase a new kit. Many Thanks Angie
Just buy one of those aerosol cans of repair foam and keep that in the car. The Copen repair kit is a bit of a mess on anyway.
Just be aware that...if you use the Copen repair kit or an aftermarket one..the tyre has to be replaced after...it can not be repaired. So..if say you get a nail in a tyre..a slow puncture..goes flat over the weekend do not use the kit to get you to the tyre shop..you can not get your local tyre place to do a puncture repair, you have to replace the tyre.. And if you dont tell the tyre shop you have used a kit and they remove the tyre, they will not refit your old tyre, and you have to buy a new tyre from them at there prices or drive it home on 3 wheels.
