    Hi

I'm trying to import my little baby Copen to Denmark (It will be the first and only here)
In that instance I'm having a problem as the headlights are set up for UK and the need to be tilted 30 degrees the other way.

Is this possible to do at the back of the headlight?

Thanks for much for any help

Nej mand, I do not think this is possible. You would have to buy new headlights that are made for left hand drive cars

The reason I'm asking is that my Copen was damaged and the dealer who repaired it said they purchased the new headlight in Germany

In the case that I can't make this work is there a good page or place I can buy parts in Germany? Preferably as far north west in the country as possible :)

There are still Daihatsu Dealers in Germany, they should be able to sell you the "german" headlamps, but they will be expensive.
The closest one to Denmark is in Schleswig.

You might be lucky and find some used, but those are rare! :D
You could also ask at Kiessetz+Schmidt, they do send parts per mail, so you do not have to drive to Germany
    Autohaus Kiessetz & Schmidt GmbH

Interesting that the dealer bought the headlamp from germany :wondering: Maybe he ordered a japanese one

Edit: Come to think of it, maybe there is a switch to change directions, but I never saw the headlamp from behind because its in the fender, so you cannot reach it :D
Edit2: I checked, there seems to be no switch to change them from left to right :(

I know it's very difficult to see but in the centre of the photo you can see that inside the lamp housing there's an angle towards the left which drops the light for driving on the left side of the road, so I had to buy new lamps for 750£ ;(

Tough, but see the positive side: You can still drive your copen and its unique in Denmark :D

    That is so true :)
Was hoping they would give me a reward for bringing it over, instead I have to pay around 3 000£ in import taxes

However the Copen is worth it:)
