Hi there, I have only had my Copen for about 24 hours and I'm totally in love with it! She is about 8 years old and in fabulous condition. I drove boring Ford 'mummy' cars for years and recently decided I wanted a fun car instead. As soon as I saw the Copen it was love at first sight! Am still getting to know her but I know we will have a long and very fun relationship. Looking forward to learning more from all of you too! Love, Rebecca
Hey Rebecca - I can vouch for that! Old Badger and I have only had our cars for months (rather than years) and I can assure you that the fun factor has not only not worn off ... it's still growing!! Every time I climb into Neville it feels like the start of an adventure. So, have a massive time!
Hi The longer you own it the more you'll love it. I've had mine just over a year now. Flew through its mot! I had it serviced too. God! The car now is awesome, feels fab. So like me I hope you get to enjoy all that there is to enjoy with this fabulous car. Oh, hopefully I'll see you at Kingsbury Water Park this year for the annual event.
Hi Jules Sorry to be pedantic but I've had MLC for 10 years (from new!!). Just that I've rediscovered the joys of Copen motoring this year! And it's better than ever drove it to a beer festival/steam railway with a good friend recently.....heaven on earth.....beer, steam, Copen, old gits playing rock music, even beer ON the steam train......oh, and we left our wives at home!
Hi Rebecca, Deb and I have only had our Copen a few weeks and have covered 1500 miles already. Deb is totally in love with the car too and like you drove boring mummy fords for years before that and wanted a bit of fun. Im sure like her your going to be smiling every time you get behind the wheel. Happy motoring. Dave
Haha, Badger, I had no idea! I thought a youngster like you had bought MLC for your ... er ... MLC. Wow - you lucky thing! So many years of Copening. How come you've only just discovered the joys of the Copenworld community? You ought to be a Copenworld guru by now, surely? Hey well, us Copenistas that are still wet behind the ears had better get some miles under our belts. Poor young Neville's only just cracked 21K so it's time to get some rubber down on the road. Oh, by the way, just lining up an Adam K rust-proofing session next weekend with a mate of mine who seems to know what he's doing (well, he runs a 1930s Alvis that he takes in hillclimbs all over the country and never seems happier than when he's underneath the old girl rebuilding some oily part! ).
