My 2009 1.3 S30 Grey Copen has very floppy sun visors. The pax side one allows falls down after a few minutes driving. I've taken it off and can't see anything different about it but nor can I see how to increase the frictionto get it to saty in place.

    Any clues please?

    Thanks!

Thanks - tried that and yes, it works but then the Wife managed to trap one when she put the roof up! - So I'd like to get a proper fix for them. (I can't understand how the spring inside the fasting applies any friction to it in the first place!)

Hi, I fixed it with a nut and one hammer blow. So the spring is faster..

news. I come to plan B. After some time the problem come back..

Plan B today dismantled the sun visors and cut an M6 thread with a taper at the end. M6 screw mounted ready. Thats rocks.

Today tested no problem. It would otherwise be possible to tension it with the screw.:)

I fixed mine with Welz' first method, and they have stayed fixed so far. Just a matter of increasing the tension on the spring.
