My steering wheel off centre after new front tires fitted. After speaking to a mechanic where I always have my copen serviced, he suggested an alignment. this has solved 95% of the problem and the car is noticeably tracking the road better, but the steering wheel is still slightly off centre to the left. Any help would be gratefully received.

disconnect the battery, wait 30 mins (unless you want an airbag to the face), remove the airbag, break the tension on the steering wheel nut, align steering wheel, retighten nut to spec (in service manual), attach airbag, attach battery

Used to have a White Copen, but I sold it in 2023
Top Tip: Do not sit in the car when you disconnect the airbag, do it from outside, so you will not be killed, should it go off
Also make sure the wheels are centered before you align the steering wheel :D

Top Tip: If your car is ever an insurance write off and the airbags haven't deployed, "liberate" the airbags from the car (and or set them off)... airbags are fairly expensive and will fetch a decent price on the secondhand market.

When my Pajero was a Cat-B write off - stolen, back axle broken. Cat B allows for the car to be sent to a breakers - I set off the airbags when I went to get my things from it in the impound yard. No one except me is making money from breaking the car!

Frightened the living shit out of some random guy in the yard :-D

How the hell can your steering wheel be off centre because you had new tyres fitted?
Unless, it was already like that when you brought it in for the tyres, pulling to left..
or when they took it for a drive someone hit a curb?
A wheel alignment should have fixed that anyway if it was done properly? Imagine how much it would cost if they had to take the steering
wheel off everytime they fitted new tyres or had an alignment?
It should have been centred when the alignment was done.
Double check it is tracking straight on the road when you drive it? If its pulling to one side when you take your hands off the wheel then take it back? Find a good piece of road and check it.
I had new tyres and wheels fitted to my Copen. The car was already spot on with tracking but I had it done anyway. Still spot on.
Be careful of these tyre places. I have had some alignments that were crap and had to return the car.
Another place said my Audi wasn't aligned properly even though it tracked ok? Quattro though so totally different to get right.
With the fancy machines for doing this you would think it shouldn't be a problem but depends on how experienced the bloke is doing it.

Rear speakers may be a problem since we do not have a rear. You can fit a slimline sub behind the seats or under them but the best bet for roofless clear audio I've seen is this, right behind your head:
