How do you make your Copen glint in the sun? For years ive just used good old turtlewax but now there seem to be all kinds of weard stuff out there. Does anyone have any tips and experiance on getting really glassy shines? Regards, Sardine.
I used to use Auto-glym products but now I'm converted to Meguiars. To get a really good shine this is what I do. Give the car a good wash. Claybar the entire body, only needs ding once or twice a year. I use Meguiars Gold class polish, buff off using good clean microfibre cloths. Then I use Meguiars Quick Detailer spray. Spray it on & wipe off. This will give you showroom finish shine.
Two words: Greased Lightning Quick, Easy, Very Shiny, contains Carnuba Wax for protection, best stuff i have ever used and i've tried a few! I get so boored polishing a car, with this stuff takes me less than 15 minutes and the copen is done, not a streak on it and best of all nothng seems to stick to it so it stays cleaner longer. I know im starting to sound like a salesmen but im not, i just really rate it. Andy
Wash with Autoglym Clay bar with Clay Magic Wash again and dry Polish with Klasse All in One Wait a day, wash and dry Harden with Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze Protect rubber seals and interior plastics with 303 Polish glass (inside and out) with Wurth glass cleaner I am keen to purchase a foaming lance as my other car is a VW T5 van. The Copen is so small it is easy to keep in tip top condition. I intend to treat the car to a full detail in the (Australian) spring.
