    just a friendly bit of advice to the new users, before responding to a thread that’s more than a couple of months old, it may be worth checking when the original poster (or whoever you are seeking to contact as follow-up) was last active.

    Chances are if they last posted over a year ago, they ain’t coming back.

    Lol, same here Badger. I traded the Copen last June but sadly it looks like the new owner managed to kill it as the tax and MOT are both past due.

    Time to get another one Rob! I’ve had mine for 15 years now and still going strong. Doesn’t get much use though sadly. It’s just so impractical. Can’t take the grandchildren or the mother-in-law or even do the shopping with the roof down. Also not good for transporting furniture, etc. And those things account for 95% of my motoring!

    I’ve got an MX-5 with retractable hardtop which I’ve got used to. The good news is that the full boot is usable with the roof down. Bad news is that the fuel economy and tax etc. are not as wallet friendly as the Copen.
