Hi! Thought it's about time I introduced myself to those who do not know me! My name is Emily, I'm 26 and just finished an engineering degree specialising in motorsport engineering (why and how a chassis would twist etc not who won the F1 last year). I founded Kei kars in the park, an annual meet for kei car owners where we can all get together and catch up without being misunderstood by the 'big boys' haha (www.KKITP.com) Instead of collecting hand bags or shoes (as I'm assured normal women are meant to do) I seem to be collecting cars. At the moment we have (in descending engine size): '97 2.5 Mondeo V6 ST24 called Melvin '07 1.3 Copen called Charlie '11 1.0 Toyota Aygo called Alex '93 660cc Suzuki Cappuccino called Caz-a-ccino '91 660cc (kinda) Honda Beat called Beatie Caz-a-ccino and Beatie are currently off the road, but I am currently as we speak tweaking the final designs for the new subframe for Beatie, so that'll get there eventually. I'm also slowly repainting and replacing the panels for caz-a-ccino. We had to name the cars to make it less complicated, especially during the short period I owned 2 Aygos. Anyway, here's the one you're probably most interested in, Charlie. (photos from the 2011 annual KKITP meet at Kingsbury water park) I don't believe in coincidences, and when I did a delivery to one of our trader customers and saw this gorgeous little copen parked up, on a day I wouldn't normally be working, the day after he got it, not even listed for sale yet... I knew it had to be! Any questions, please fire away!
Hi Emily, Love the Copen. You mention that its an '03? A 1.3 in that colour would be an '07 onwards? Enjoy.
hi emily well done on the doing the degree (very impressed) really enjoyed the meet you organised will be attending again next year
Yeah bit of a blonde moment there. I meant 2007, it's a 57 plate. I just got confused for some reason (doesn't take a lot mind) hehe
Thank you, was quite a lot of hard work. So far it's been impossible to get a graduate job, but I'm just grateful to have any job at the moment. I decided to rename my position to 'graduate van driver' haha Really glad you enjoyed the meet, and look forward to seeing you again next year
