Hi all from sunny Yorkshire. I'm a mature potential owner who has fancied a fun convertible since owning a 2CV in my twenties but then driving nice but boring saloons and 4x4s until I recently retired. I've found a couple of Copen that caught my eye. One is a 600cc with a reasonable service history and circa 60k miles. The only worry is that it went 12k between the last couple of services so the turbo may not be happy. The second is the 1300cc which is more expensive as its newer. Ayadvice gratefully received. What's the parts availability as the 1300cc may need new seat belts. Thanks.
Hi @BarnsleyRob, welcome to the group. Any of the two options is going to be a good choice. I do have a 1.3 and what sold it to me was the emissions, longer intervals in between services and the fact that it lacks a turbo. I also know that owners of .66's appreciate the smile that the turbo brings to their faces. Don't get me wrong, I smile a lot too! They are both extremely good fun to drive. Before you replace your seat belts have a look around the forums. There's mention of a fix that brings them back to life, like new. Controversial, but worth reading and decide whether that's for you or not. Cheers.
