Hi Guys, My passenger door isn't locking/unlocking with fob. I have to lock it manually. Please help!!
Can you hear any noise from inside the door? I don't know if this link will help, the link Adam posts at the bottom shows you how to remove the door panel - which is not as hard as you would imagine - if you want to look inside at the mechanism. https://www.copenworld.com/communit...nlocks-one-door-not-the-other.1710/#post-8748
Do the indicator lights flash when you click the fob? Could simply be a case of a dead battery in the fob.
I posted some stuff about re pairing the fob to the car then re read his post and realised the fob was opening one of the doors. So I deleted my post. Clarel will be on the right track with something coming adrift in the door. Either that or a dead door motor.
Yep we both missed it which is some doing considering its a one line post. What he should do is operate the fob while getting his ear close to the door to see if he can hear the motor or solenoid operating. If he can hear a noise in the door then its likely a linkage come adrift or broken. Should be easy to fix.
Hi Guys, I've taken off the door panel and there is no loose connections, it must be electrical. I will book it in the garage, many Thanks
Hi I had a similar problem, with the passanger door locking sometimes but not others using the key fob, and discovered it was something to do with the interior light switch in the door not thinking the door was shut https://www.copenworld.com/community/threads/central-locking.2239/#post-12764 which may help you. If the link doesn't work search for central locking.
