Just bought a Copen for my wife, what a great car!
I don't think many on here will disagree about them being great cars.
Is it a 1.3 or the original turbo charged engine?
Hi Wyn, Welcome to Copenworld.
Hi Wyn and welcome.
You should know that there's no need to pretend that you bought it for your wife We're all Copen owners and admirers, so no one here is going to mock you
I bought my Copen for me - but my wife has commandeered it and now tells everyone that it's hers :-((
I think I have the worst example here. When I bought the Copen, one of the sayings we give out was that it was for my daughter who was 8 years old; I get to drive it for 10 years till she can legally drive, and at that time she can do whatever a novice driver can do to it and nobody will be too heartbroken for the car.
Six years has passed and she's always reminding me to "take good care of my car"!
The second excuse was that my wife claims she has a relatively narrow eyesight and so she needs an open top car so that she can see better. Though, she's got a license but never drives.
The third excuse we say was that it was my 40th birthday present.
What a family of pretenders!
Just dress in women's clothes when you go for a drive in the Copen, problem solved.
Is that a tried and tested method DaG?
So is that just for the Copen - You're not supposed to do that anyway?
Speaking as a proud female owner, I have to ask....why are YOU registered on here and not your wife?
That being said, welcome!
Yep, used it for every car I've owned.
The clutch is a bugger to press in these heels.
