Hello and a very good day to everyone,

My name is René and I will be a new owner of a Daihatsu Copen, I've bought a dark-blue 1.3 from November 2006.
Unfortunately with damage. Actually, I must say fortunately. Because now it was cheap enough for me to buy ;)

The back is damaged, but it should be easily fixed. So during this winter it will be repaired and I'm very keen on having the first real drive in it.

I don't even know how the car works (for example the electric roof) so that is why I found this forum in the first place. But I hope to find more usefull and entertaining stuff here. Let's see...

To fix my own car, I've also bought a second Copen (with damage on the both sides and the front) to make one 'new' one out of two damaged ones. This second car is from March 2008 (also a 1.3) with only 23.000 km. Reason I tell you this: maybe someone can use some parts of is? After I'm done with my own car, I will want to sell everything that's left off course.

For now: greetings and hope to see your cars on the road someday ;)

    René

Welcome to Copenworld, René - you'll love the site and also the total fun of ownership!

One thing fascinates me: you have a dark-blue 2006 1.3 Copen! Different in the Netherlands? In the UK, 1.3s were only available in silver, grey and red and only from 2007.

Hey, have a great winter with your two Copens and keep us posted with how you get on! :D
