Well it been twelve days since I got my Copen and I just wanted to say I so so love it It is such a fun car it makes me smile it makes me enjoy driving again it is so smooth and rattle free ,everything works perfect ,I am so chuffed The best bit is everyone either smiles or laughs when they see it ,of course in a nice way . Lots I want to do but also just loving driving it and that's what it should be about hey . Thank you all for being so helpful and saving me trawl the internet for hrs ,I love this forum and just wanted to say Thanks and how happy I am
You know Duncan, I'm so on board with what you say. I've only had Neville since November, and now that the weather's a tad better we've been getting to know each other better and I've been loving finding out just how amazing he is when I chuck him into a corner He's so responsive and pointy - like you, I just spend the time in the driver's seat with a big grin on my face! I've never owned a car that I wanted to take out just for the sheer fun of driving, but I do now! Hope that smile stays fixed on your mug forever!!
Hi. Being only a one day owner myself, I thought you may be able to help me, as you are quite close in ownership days! I have never used a forum so let's see if this works.... I went to open my roof on the copen and it seemed that the roof was going to squash the boot it was that close, so I closed it back up and am to scared to open it now (although the weather here in north Qld is perfect ATM). What are the steps that you take before opening your roof? Appreciate any help! Thanks. Wayne
all you have to do is make sure there's nothing loose in the boot, pull out the bit that slots in place and away you go - really can't go wrong unless there's something very wrong with your car.
Squash the boot ? Explain more please The boot is not very big when the roof is all wrapped up in there so it may look like it getting close to other parts of the car . How about removing whatever you have in the boot then slowly open it up , Remember you have full control of the roof by the switch so can stop it any time you release the switch .
