i'm 5'10 and i'm a little worried about how spacious copens are, i've got a general idea from comparing measurements i found online to cars i've been in, but does anyone of a similar height have any firsthand experience they can offer? for specifics, the car i'm looking at is a 2006 vivid 659cc manual, it's yellow and i am hopelessly in love with it, even though it'll probably go before i can get it, i'll be looking for the same model because of how much i love it
I'm not quite that dizzy height but you may also want to look at some videos (if you haven't already) - Here's one from Top Gear - James May is almost 6 feet in old money - They won't be spacious for sure but mine never feels cramp. For what it's worth I always get in like a diver - backwards - to first sit on the seat then legs in when turning round to face forward.
yeah, i've seen that and a few others, still a little worried, but honestly i love the little things so much i don't care too much if my knees are a little closed in also i expected to have to get in a little weird so no sweat there
I’m 5'7" and have no issues at all. At first it felt a bit like being folded into a suitcase—especially with the pedals so close together—but after a few drives you get used to it. Now it somehow feels completely normal… which is probably the funniest part.
Hi Natalie. Glad to see you are considering a Copen, but concerned you are asking about how much room there is inside. The answer is: none. This is a Kei car.... tiny, and specific for its intended market. Don't imagine toting the groceries or an Ikea bookshelf home in it... please look at other options. However, if you want a fun, city runabout without utilitarian concerns, then go for it! In terms of seating for yourself, I am 182cm tall, and have no problem with fitting in with the roof closed. These things are great as a second car, but not practical enough for your primary drive. All the best to you, and please feel free to ask me any specific questions. Cheers, Peter.
