Anyone put la400k seats in their l880k? Not much on the Internet about this swap but I've seen it done. There is only one site I could find, and it only has a little info about how the seat rail on the 400 seats is higher at the front. They drew this crude drawing to show. Is the only way to do it to swap the seat rails? If so, is that simple to do?

I'm super keen on the new seat design, and plus, my current seats have 15 years on them and its just a matter of time before that area on the backrest at the entrance of the driver's side rips as they usually do. In fact, that's what my fabric driver's seat was like when I bought it. So, I found a good condition replacement for it, but that is still 15 years old as well so its bound to rip at some point.

My Copen is white, so I'm keen on the dark red ones. But finding a pair for sale is probably going to be an issue as well, eh? One can dream.
