Hi Adam, Wish I'd known sooner Booked a Weekend in North Wales the Week Before, Unortunetly too late to Change. Has a date been set yet for KKITP? Ken.
Mr Pikachu and I will be taking part in the North Wales Kei Car Run - really looking forward to it! We went last year, and we had a great time - I've never met a warmer, more welcoming bunch of people. One of the best bits was driving in convoy through North Wales towns and villages - it was such a great feeling when people stopped to stare!
We have been thinking about attending, but as I won't be back in the UK until late Friday, it's a bit of a push. Any ideas of where the run ends,so we can book a b&b? Rex.
Hope you all get Good Weather! We went to North Wales last Weekend and it poured it down all day Sunday.
Hi Rex, This is the end location. Porthmadog/Tremadog If you go, you need to be at the start before 1pm. I've PM'd you too.
Okay, arrived back in the uk. B&B booked, just outside Tremadog. So We will be there... I'll ring Emily tomorrow as suggested. Just need to plan what time we need to leave... Won't have time to polish though ;( Rex.
On behalf of the team at KKITP I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to all the Copens that attended the run. I hope you all had a great time. I'll post a link to the event report when it's available. You can see some pictures here http://keikarsinthepark.co.uk/index.php?topic=993.msg8648#new go to page 6. Keep your diaries free for end of March 2012 for next years run.
We did indeed, Adam - we were very lucky with the weather, and what a fantastic route Emily designed for us!! I'd never seen a Honda Beat before Saturday. And now I've met two! Really nice to meet Rex and Ruth, as well. It's good to be able to put faces to names, and I have to say he'd made a lovely job of the sound system he'd put in his Copen!
Yes, it was a good day. Nice to meet all. Emily put in so much work to find an interesting route - including a 'closed road' !! By the way the B&B we stayed in was really great - Room and breakfast fantastic. http://www.bwlchyfedwen.co.uk/ Pikachu, you don't know what you started, fancy mentioning there was a 'vivid red' for sale But the show stealer was definitely Honey. Rex.
