Echoing Copencat's thread from a year or two back ("It is Sunny!") I returned home this evening to find Neville sporting his first dusting of snow this winter: Mind you, I bet our Scottish Copenistas will soon be uploading photos of their prides and joy shrouded in a blanket of white! When we drew back the curtains this morning, we were greeted by this sight: Upon tramping the fells this morning, overtopped by a vault of blue, we enjoyed crunchy snow and the need for sunglasses - winter is here already!
Hi Jules! We even got a sprinkling of the white stuff down here yesterday. Bright and sunny this morning though, although frosty. Make sure you don't lose Neville in the snow!
Blimey, Badger - really? And there I was thinking that you were suffering gales and the like. Yup, I'm waiting for that moment when he disappears in a drift - they're already 3 feet deep on the high fell ridges! Stay warm, you and Mrs. OB.
Wow, Your Majesty, praise indeed for the landscape! Bob's paintings are awesome - they just draw you in! It's great to see Neville as, kinda, part of a Bob Ross/Lakeland image on his little avatar pic!
No snow here in Gibraltar, where it's first Copen has arrived in the last week! Hope you guys can appreciate the picture.
Great picture - I wish the weather was like that here right now If yours is the first Copen in Gibraltar are you getting lots of strange looks and people asking questions?
Hi ClareL, Is your question aimed at me? I'm actually in Gibraltar! The car does get a few strange looks but otherwise people are quite dismissive of it. I have been questioned about it quite a lot in the first week. As Gib is bordering Spain I often travel between the two, and the border control officers seem to have taken a shine to it!
Sorry, I was being a bit thick there and not re reading . The reaction you get here seems to depend where you are in the UK as well.
Does Gib drive on the LHS, or the RHS like Spain? Personally, I dislike driving on the RHS in a LHS car.
We drive on the right here, and my Copen is a UK car so it's a RHD . The locals consider this massively inconvenient but I think it's a small price to pay to buy and drive a car that I actually want. Gib, in my opinion, doesn't have a very diverse car market.
