    Morning all,

With risk of this turning into another dead turbo thread, the other half has a v nice Copen 0.7 in blue, and some days it will only achieve 60 with nothing left to give, then other times it will hit 70 and more with power to spare. Is this a sign of turbo on way out or more like a pipe leak and linked to atmospherics(really must get her to log when it has power or not, see if its only on slightly cold mornings etc)?

It had sat in a car dealers forecourt in the wind and rain for 5 years, but fired up straight away with a jump pack and had a full oil service more or less straight away. Bought for a song and only needed 2 rear Potenza's for the MOT :) (replete with smug-gittedness).

    Thanks

    James

Is it just consistently weak more than spluttering power? Spluttering power may be a spark issue like coil pack going.

Can you connect to the OBD connector and see if it gives a manifold pressure? If that is lower than normal (what is normal?) it would suggest the turbo is not turboing as it should.
    Further advice: look for wallet.
