Hi all. Just bought a technically sound but ROUGH project L880. The engine sounds ok but the thermostat is duff, the roof works but the body repairs look like they've been done with a crayon. Am looking forward to bringing it back to life over the next few years and hopefully restoring the body to factory. Pictured to come as she's arriving on a recovery vehicle where she's been sat for over 6 months

Just an fyi, I have 2 rear quarter panels (left and right). They have had the lower chunk cut from them as they were used to repair my Copen, but the rest could maybe still be used.
Would be willing to part with them if you need them.
    Good luck on the restoration!

From the looks of it you've taken the nearside sil/wheel arch bit... I may need the one from the other side :) time to up my welding game. Where did you get these out of curiosity?

Contacted Hepworth Motor Co, an ex Daihatsu dealership who ordered them from Japan. I remember they were quite expensive, and I think I heard somewhere that they are no longer manufactured? Can't confirm.

    Part numbers were
    60161-97201-000 (Right)
    And
    60162-97201-000 (Left)

There's more body panel part numbers here: https://mthill.com/copen/copen.pdf

Oh and I took the wheel arch bit from the offside as well, it's pretty much just the little bit of the front part of the sill and fuel filler area which I thought could still be usable if needed.
