My Copen is going in for some TLC next week and I want to provide the garage with copies of the workshop manual and the Japanese "How To Videos" for things like removing the various external light clusters. Someone posted a link last week but I can't for the life of me find it again. Also, is there an easy way to download and save the videos so I can burn them to a CDROM ? Thanks.
Not sure about ripping the videos from youtube, Pocket your favorite videos with our guide to downloading from YouTube tells you how to do it with VLC Player, I have that myself and it's a decent free program, just actually read the popup windows during install as it will probably offer to install some useless crap and free offers. Pick no on those and it's fine, better than windows media player anyway but what isn't?
the top video is actually an ad for a Copen maintenance DVD. Found it on Amazon for ¥3400 (about 28 Euros?), region 2 format, 182 minutes, only in Japanese. This may be a link - http://amzn.asia/865VjaP or search by the DVD's title:ダイハツ コペン(L880K) メンテナンスオールインワンDVD Vol.1 Google Translate & the Chrome Extension "Google Translate" really help with text. Found this video where they remove the back bumper: In the file attached, diagrams for removing the tail & stoplight bulbs are on the 14th page, labeled J1-14.
Interesting last video. Looks like a good tip to get the rear fog/reversing lights out. Has anyone used that technique ?
