About to fit a pumpkin double din and I fondly imagined I could just pull the old radio out the way lots of them do. But it won't shift - any tips? Please?

Plenty of tips on here if you do a search. From memory it involves taking the bezel off first.

Yeah, take the bezel off first, you can reach through from the glovebox and push it a bit from the inside, so you have an edge to grab on to

It's super easy, remove the surrounding trim 6 clips, 3 down either side, you can start bu putting your hand through the glovebox and pushing the top left one out, once removed, you remove the 4 screws holding the carriage in, then it all comes out, unscrew the radio 2 screws, one either side, fit your new unit! I did it over the weekend just gone to fit a new sterio and my god the difference with the stock speakers compared to the Clarion stock unit is astonishing! My new single din has a smart phone holder :) very cool for using nav in the copen!
