    Hi everyone,

We have just added a Copen to our family, 2004 bright yellow with red leather. It will be my wife's daily runner.

Had a good 80-mile drive back from collecting it with no issues but then when on the drive I put the air con on and the engine management light came on :(

I have my data lead and all software for my BMW but not for Daihatsu :(

Hopefully it will be something simple and I will have a general look. I may have to go and buy a separate code reader to confirm what the issue is.

I'm sure I will be scouring the forums :)

OBD2 blue tooth reader is less than a fiver from flea bay, Torque Lite app for android is free.
    Mine was £3 odd delivered!
The port is just above the clutch pedal, you'll feel it rather than see it.

You can download the workshop manual here after a weeks membership.

Got a code reader from t'internet and giving misfire code. Will check plugs and filter first to see if it is an easy fix. Will look to download a service manual ifbi can. Have tried to but it just downloadd an image saying visit cooenworld.

Used to have a White Copen, but I sold it in 2023
Change the plugs first, if this does not fix the issue, you might look at the coil packs.
