Just wanted to introduce myself to the forums,

My lady and i have recently make the joyous leap to Copen ownership and are loving every journey,

We live and work in Birmingham and find the Copen great around the City,

As never having owned anything like the car (previous company car driver so mondeos etc) im here to pick up tips and tricks from more experienced owners!

Look forward to contributing in the future.

    Will & Lindsey

    Hi Will & Lindsey,

My wife Barbara & I are in the same boat as you having just taken ownership of 'Penny' our 659 cc bundle of (hopefully) joy.

I will look out for your future posts and share our experiences too, as probably like yourselves we have reached the point of embracing a little of something different for week end runs and give our Golf some time off!

    Best Regards,

    Stuart

Welcome, Will and Lindsey! Not been here long me-self, having met Neville (the Copen, you understand!) in Nov. 2013. Like you I'd never owned anything of the sort ... hankered after it for years, mind you ... and the good news is it just keeps getting better and better! :D

Sure, there are definite things to look out for, but Copenworld is a great place to find out about them, like the lack of rust-proofing. That's a surprise in a modern car (not a surprise in my first, a 70s Simca which slowly turned to something resembling a gorgonzola cheese). So lots of advice on remedial work here.

Enjoy yourself, you two - it'll keep a smile pinned on your face for miles and miles and .... :D

Birmingham, eh? Wave if you spot a silver 1.3, could be mine or the other half's and we use one or both daily
