hey all! been a while since I've frequented a forum, but this one looks like it's got some people I might get along with! My name is Tim and I've been a total Daihatsu nut all my life. I don't own a Copen unfortunately (because they are so very expensive in NZ!!) but I do own 4 little Daihatsu's currently and each have a bunch of attitude. So hopefully I'm welcome even though I'm not strictly speaking eligible Here's a few pics of my 'projects' Tim
Hi, I don't think this is an owners club!! Just anyone who is an enthusiast of the Copen - welcome!! Seems that your photos on dropbox are not in a public section so nobody except you will be able to view them.
hey Copen lovers! sadly I had all but forgotten about this forum but have recently had a new member enter the family and it reminded me of my long-ago introduction I have very gladly found myself a little Copen to call my own here in NZ and love it! it's a euro spec 1.3L version in manual and I couldn't be happier. I was also fortunate enough to be taken to visit a Japanese Copen guru while in Osaka visiting some racing friends a few weeks ago. Some of you may have heard of the shop Mo-FAC. They are the real deal and totally mad about Copens... and after that, a visit to my mates shop, Take-Off to see some of their amazing kit designs in the flesh... very cool! anyway.. enough chatter, here are some pictures I'm sure you can guess what's what https://photos.app.goo.gl/gkbs3r38egtPPnZR8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/crxG4peAE1Knk2ZR8 https://photos.app.goo.gl/C15Z9rAE8YeX2HLG9
What a lovely car. I bet it is difficult to find them in New Zealand. Love the colour. Have fun driving it!
thanks Toucan! you're not wrong about them being rare, it's the only 1.3 ever to be registered in NZ if I'm not mistaken definitely needs more turbo though
