Hi guys, just saying hello here for now. Just traded my suzuki jimny in for a 2004/54 Copen 659 and i love it so far. My username is what i use on all forums as it goes back to my first car - a Fiat 126, so i'm not new to tiny cars. Will try and take photo's soon, it's bright red with the black cloth interior and MOMO steering wheel
my first car was a fiat seicento sporting and i have one of these still now just a better example of a seicento then my first car as well as the copen yellow seicento and red copen
Hi Nathan Welcome to Copenworld. We also like small cars, owned about 4 of the fiat 126's our last one was bright orange, a replica of the General Lee! What a cool car!
Thanks guys RHD, i remember a general lee 126. Was yours bike engined? otherwise there are more than one. Owned a lot of Fiats; panda 4x4, 126, seicento, Panda mk3 then my suzuki jimny and now my copen plus i have a mk2 panda that i intend to get roadworthy. Thanks for the welcome guys, i'm a bit busy recently but when i can i'll get some pics, do you all use photobucket etc? One other question to you guys with the 659 turbo, how does it feel on icey roads/slippery surfaces.. small tires might help, but the turbo might be a problem?
pauliepaul, my seicento was a 1.1 SX mpi. Lovely little car, if it was a second car i would have kept it, but moved onto a panda eleganza. Neither as much fun as this little copen though
yeah i agree... my seicento is a sporting in yellow and must be one of the best ones around... its a spi on T reg and only covered just over 12,000 miles copens on 18,000 miles
General Lee Original fiat engine, we drove it back from Devon to West Midlands, now that was some journey! I still cant work out how to post pictures on this site! Very Annoying! If you still want to see pic of it send me your email address or I can change my profile pic.
Welcome to the site Nathan. We had a mini before the Copen. Proper mini. One with rust and stuff. Makes the Copen ride now feel very smooth and comfortable...... RHD - to post pics i use photobucket. Create an account at photobucket.com, upload your pics to their site then highlight the pic you want and in the details you can see the IMG code. Copy the code and paste it into your post. The pic should be displayed. There's other sites and options. This one works fine for me, although recently they changed their design and i couldnt find the IMG code. They also have a mobile app though and its easier to find the code on that.
