    Hi Everyone.
    I've just bought a 2nd hand copen 1.3, pick it up on Saturday.

    I'm a bit nervous about the turbo / oil filter change issue that seems to be mentioned in most reviews I read - can anyone advise should I change the oil and filter myself every 9k miles or is there a warning sign I should look out for?

    hello,

    The 1.3 ltr is not a turbo, so the 3k oil and filter change does not apply

    Yes, as Andy said the 1.3 has the same engine as a Toyota Yaris so just needs servicing like any normal car.

    My wife has a 1.3 Yarris . Do you think she would notice if I swapped engines ?

    Probably not, you could try swapping bodies (the cars not yourselves) :)

    every 1.3 seems to be grey - I did see a red one for sale once, but just the once.

    Aha, thanks Andy, shows how much Arnold Clark knows - they've sold me a package for servicing and MOT as 'the turbo is prone to blowing if you don't service the car frequently' - must have seen me coming!

    Still it went like a rocket in the test drive - great fun, I can't wait.

    Thank you for the welcome folks. . . and it's silver with red seats.

    I have seen a champagne gold one for sale, silver, grey and red (red and champagne only once)
