Hi Tic, Welcome to Copenworld. I don't think anyone in the UK has a Crate engine fitted. Not that I know off anyway.
Hi Dwayner She's got a cracked head - tiny but evident on pressure testing when hot. She's also burning oil - we're not too sure why or how. Mech's quoted about 3 - 4K for a rebuild so has suggested a replace as a cheaper alternative. Any ideas?

hi tc never heard of a cracked head on a copen before, so dont know what to tell you. do you know the cause of the crack? I service mine every 2 months - wether it needs it or not - cant take a chance with these cars - parts are hard to get.
