Cobra forgot the fob and the interior button is borked - remove/bypass it or reprogram it?

First post introduction - I'm Steve from Staffordshire, got a 2007 Copen 1.3 - registered in 2009, about a month in to ownership with all the highs and lows ;)
The battery was flat after standing for a week, so disconnected the earth, charged it, all started ok, switch off and now the Cobra immobiliser won't cooperate >.< I think it's forgot the fob, but the Cobra's little button inside the car doesn't operate properly. Time for removal?

Did a bit of investigating, a bit of MacGuyver-ing, I've added a button to enter the PIN code and can now control the Cobra!
