Has anyone replaced the handbrake end to something fancy. Are you able to remove it or did you just have to use a universal cover Be infested to hear from anyone who has upgraded Nathan
Hi The end screws off reasonably easily and you can get nice chrome buttons on eBay for a few quid that do wonders for the look of the interior. A leather cover (just slips on) also improves things - but it’s a slippery slope...before you know it you’ll want to chrome anything you can move and probably most of what you can’t.
You can remove the whole handbrake handle for a leather version or specific Copen replacements, or there are covers that fit over it, . The OEM handbrake is a lump of soft plastic just glued onto the lever, after trying for quite a while to remove it intact in case it screwed or otherwise came off, I just grabbed it with some pliers and tore chunks out of it like a shark in a blood frenzy. I got it off a breaker, then I got the chrome handle at a discount so I don't need it.
Thanks Vin, love your chrome handle and was looking to do something similar in red to match my red momo gear knob. Let me mull it over the weekend and I will come back to you on your offer of the leather one which would certainly look better than standard

I have no idea honestly, just slightly larger than the actual handbrake lever - I don't have any calipers and measuring it's diameter accurately with a ruler is difficult.
