Is there any particular reason one would choose the genuine filter over the Mahle, considering that the Mahle one is known to fit?

How does £14.16 sound for a genuine D oil filter for the turbo hair-drier?

Note: as Adam had pointed out to me on another thread, from SG Petch the oil filter jumps up from the ~£15 page price to ~£26 with p+p and VAT. This does drop to ~£20 if you bought 5 with a single p+p charge.

I'll have to check if the above includes p+p.

Just noticed on the Petch site you get a 3 year warranty with the oil filter! so who's keeping their oil filter on the car for 3 years or more?
