I'm not trying to be funny but when that plate is legally spaced it will be CO05 PEN. I think you'd have to really stretch your imagination to read it as Copen. Sorry just my opinion, but best of luck selling it.

Really stretch your imagination? Anyone who knows what a copen is will read that on the number plate... It's hardly the da Vinci code. Anyway I like it !
To DaG the da Vinci code was an open university course I blame the sand between his ears, but that may be why he likes beach volleyball. I quite like it but wrong number for mine.
It's a bit too much of a stretch of the imagination for me too, although no end of people have noticed that Nobby's plate looks like it reads "knob", when it's really KM08. I love mine, so have no intention of changing it. Saw a good one the other day on a sporty little Audi......LVR BOY. so uncool it's cool
So, curious about how much a COPEN reg would be I found these: XX60 PEN (a coincidentally placed mounting bolt could turn a 6 into a C, sort of) £1K at http://www.regtransfers.co.uk/ OO60 PEN £900 at http://www.nationalnumbers.co.uk/ AC05 PEN, AC07 PEN and AC08 PEN all at £250 each on http://dvlaregistrations.direct.gov.uk/ which also has CO10 PEN at £400 Looking at those, £1500 sounds optimistic. If someone has told you its worth £1500, sell it to them.
Another look on regtransfers, and you can get 10 PEN - which if you squint really hard could be COPEN - and that's only £14,995 :-O
If I was offered a Plate that spelled KNOB I'd buy it and give it to Trustafox as a present. There is a problem putting a personalised plate on cars like the copen. On most Copens the front and rear plate numbers are on two lines which makes it harder to read as one word. Also a car name plate can't really be transfered to your next car if it isn't another Copen. So you'd have to sell the car with the plate and you wouldn't get anything like your money back.

Oh no, you're not one of those nudists who plays volleyball all the time? I've got the trouble and strife with me but later in the week when she starts to flag I will try and escape for an hour or two. We're here untill Saturday. Has there been problems with this site lately? I couldn't get on here yesterday and a few times last week. Got error messages like the site didnt exist, anybody else have problems?
I've been having issues getting on the site with Google Chrome & Firefox. Downloaded Puffin, Copenworld seems to work fine on that browser.
